Pyramid Charity Sponsorship
The founder of Pyramid Recruitment, Andy Malkin, spent the weekend doing his bit for charity.
On Friday 20th May, Andy took part in the annual golf tournament held at Leatherhead golf club in order to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Care at Frimley Park hospital. Cystic Fibrosis Care was founded in 1985 & became a registered charity in 1997 to support care and treatment for CF patients at Frimley Park Hospital. The charity is dedicated to providing support and financial help for all people with cystic fibrosis (CF) but principally through the Knight Centre in the provision of medical equipment, treatment facilities, specialist consultancy and staff, along with welfare support for patients and their families.
The day helped raise £9500, a fantastic achievement. If you feel that you would like to contribute to the cause, please visit the CF page – http://www.cysticfibrosiscare-Frimley.org
After Fridays warm up, Andy joined Matt Le Tissier on Saturday for a game of football at Southampton’s ground St. Marys for Naomi House Children’s Hospice (Wessex Children’s Hospice Trust). After 90 minutes of some pretty “good” football (by FA standards), a fantastic night came to an end. 300 supporters enjoyed what could only be matched by the upcoming Euro’s. Due to a high demand and a sign of thanks for the capacity crowd, Andy and Matt Le Tissier spent time signing shirts and autographs. Le Tissier beating Andy by 299/1 on the signatures front!
The total raised for this event has yet to be confirmed but is said to be in the region of £2000.< Older post Newer post >
